The vacancy
We are looking for a dedicated Buildings Manager to lead our Maintenance and Caretaking team. In this role, you will oversee day-to-day operations, prioritise tasks, and efficiently allocate resources to meet performance standards and ensure clear communication.
Key Responsibilities:
Organise and execute a comprehensive planned maintenance programme in collaboration with the Estates Manager for optimal campus functionality. Manage building services proactively and report defects promptly. Provide a responsive service to address operational demands and coordinate evacuation procedures efficiently. Supervise on-site contractor services to ensure safety protocols and performance requirements are met.Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience in facilities management or related field. Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills. Proficiency in developing and implementing maintenance programs. Knowledge of health and safety regulations and risk assessment procedures.
