Outcomes First Group is seeking a Facilities Technician to enhance our operations.

Position: Facilities Technician

Location: Scunthorpe Region

Compensation: £23,920.00 annually plus an additional £500 for on-call duties

Work Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM

Employment Type: Permanent, Full Time

Requirements: A valid UK Driving Licence and access to a personal vehicle are essential.

We are in search of a skilled Facilities Technician to support our dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with the Facilities Team to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Engage with external contractors for specialized maintenance tasks and keep the Facilities Manager informed.
  • Provide guidance on machinery and equipment, ensuring safety and proper maintenance.
  • Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good condition and properly stored.
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance activities.
  • Travel as necessary to fulfill job responsibilities.
  • Respond promptly to urgent maintenance requests.
  • Assist team members with property upkeep and maintenance tasks.
  • Contribute to risk assessments and maintenance procedures as per company guidelines.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation.
  • Document weekly work activities.
  • Adhere to company policies, particularly regarding Health and Safety and safeguarding.

General Duties:

  • Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of external areas.
  • Maintain clear drainage systems for effective operation.
  • Inspect building exteriors and report or address any defects.
  • Check fences, gates, and other structures for necessary repairs.
  • Conduct grounds checks and respond to emergency maintenance needs.
