Our organization is seeking a skilled technician with a strong mechanical background to contribute to our commitment to sustainability by delivering high-quality, environmentally friendly products and leveraging the benefits of recycling.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver a comprehensive maintenance service throughout the facility, addressing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and construction needs.
  2. Respond to both reactive and proactive maintenance requests for all machinery, executing modifications and installations as necessary, ensuring all tasks meet high standards and that all mechanical and electrical systems operate at peak efficiency.
  3. Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance on conventional rotary pulp machinery.
  4. Offer technical insights and support for projects while continuously seeking opportunities to enhance equipment efficiency and reduce costs.
  5. Maintain, repair, and calibrate electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation systems to maximize reliability and ease of maintenance.
  6. Perform manual handling tasks as required and utilize tools and equipment effectively.

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Proven experience in both planned preventative and reactive maintenance for heavy machinery.
  • Understanding of safe operational practices in electrical and mechanical building services.
  • Experience in troubleshooting, resolving issues, and maintaining general building structures.
  • A collaborative team player with the ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • A confident and adaptable approach to work, capable of responding to various challenges.
  • Experience in PLC programming is advantageous but not mandatory.
