We are currently looking to recruit a reliable and experienced Commercial Team Lead.

What does a Commercial Team Lead involve?

To create the pathway for our teams to deliver the Commercial and Sales strategy. To lead by role modelling and excellent communication. To lead the Commercial Team by example to be the drivers of the exceptional, collaborative partnerships with Suppliers to drive growth. Develop and implement fit for purpose growth strategies for the Customer, Supplier and DCS with a focus on efficiency and profitability. Achievement of all sales and profitability targets within your portfolio, improving current terms and negotiating recovery of costs. Leading and supporting the Senior Commercial Managers, Commercial Managers and Junior Commercial Managers within your team. Communicating and negotiating at all levels both internally and externally, prioritising and making effective decisions. Develop a strong team, build networks and provide regular updates to all stakeholders.

Commercial Experience/ Competencies Required: 

· A minimum of 3 years’ experience gained within a similar role.

· Proven experience of leading a team

· Solutions focused.

· Be able to negotiate and influence effectively at all levels.

· Excellent commercial awareness and background

· High level of numerical ability, accuracy, and attention to detail

· Growth Mindset

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

· Self-motivated and flexible to change.

· Ability to build relationships and liaise effectively with a variety of networks.

· Be a strong team player.

· Good Microsoft Excel skills.

· Have effective presentation skills.

· Forecasting and analytical skill
