Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and ambitious Chief Commercial Officer to join our PE-backed commercial services business. As a key member of the Board, you will be responsible for driving the company's growth strategy and delivering exceptional results.

About the Role:

The Chief Commercial Officer will be responsible for leading the Sales and Marketing function, developing and executing the commercial plan to drive revenue growth and expansion into new sectors and channels. You will work closely with the CEO and other senior leaders to develop and implement the company's strategic plan, ensuring alignment with the Board's objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the commercial plan to drive revenue growth and expansion into new sectors and channels
  • Lead the Sales and Marketing function, including the development and implementation of sales strategies and tactics
  • Work closely with the CEO and other senior leaders to develop and implement the company's strategic plan
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and partners
  • Manage and develop a high-performing team, including sales and marketing professionals

Requirements:

  • Recent experience working in a senior role within Sales and Marketing in FMCG, retail, or B2B Services
  • Proven track record of delivering sales and building brand
  • Ability to quickly understand and assimilate the industry sector, including trends, key players, and sales channels
  • Proven ability to manage internal teams and external resources
  • Ability to demonstrate successful control of departmental budgets
  • Confident and experienced in producing and using cost and pricing models

What We Offer:

This is a Board appointment with a commensurate salary and package. You will also have the opportunity to participate in the equity scheme, which has the potential to deliver a seven-figure sum within the next 3-4 years. We are looking for a strategic and hands-on individual who leads from the front and enjoys coaching and mentoring a growing team.
