We’re looking for a Physiotherapist Outpatients and IPU will be responsible for undertake holistic physiotherapy assessment and treatment of patients with complex, life limiting illness as an autonomous practitioner with support from the Senior Physiotherapist 

We’re wanting to hear from people who can contribute to the effective provision of rehabilitation and therapy support within Rennie Grove Peace as a member of the Therapies team with the support of senior physiotherapy colleagues 

You'll maintain a respectful non-judgmental and caring attitude ensuring the Rennie Grove Peace Hospice vision and philosophy of care is integral to the care delivered and undertaken. You’ll also act as a Rennie Grove Peace ambassador within the community. 

Further to this you’ll be expected to contribute to patient information groups and courses, e.g. advanced care planning course, breathlessness groups, exercise groups and Living Well 

What you’ll bring 

  • Degree or diploma in Physiotherapy, HCPC registration 

  • Advanced communication skills or willingness to work towards 

  • Experience in a wide range of core clinical areas including Respiratory/Neurology/Medical/MSK/community Evidence of CPD and reflective practice. 

  • Awareness of NSF’s/ Local and National initiatives relating to palliative care. 

The following would be advantageous but are not essential: 

  • Member of ACPOPC – clinical interest group 

  • Previous experience and knowledge of working within the field of palliative care am
