The Team

Our team of 7 is a hardworking bunch, dedicated to excellence in everything we do. As a Payroll Administration Apprentice, you'll take on significant responsibilities supporting and processing the payroll for our associate workers. Your hard work will be seen, recognised, and appreciated.

The team are responsible for three differently weekly payrolls for Adecco, Office Angels and the Republic of Ireland in these GBU’s. This equates to payroll for around 9-10, temps a week.

Despite being a large office, the wider T3 team is amazing and close-knit. You'll quickly become familiar with everyone, ensuring there's always a friendly face to greet and support you. Join us to experience a welcoming environment where your contributions truly make a difference.

What you'll be doing

You will gain practical knowledge and skills of the administration and processing of the three payrolls noted above.

We know there are complexities to this role, so we are looking for someone who has the girt and confidence to do the job and have the willingness to fulfil the below responsibilities.

  • Liaise and handle enquiries from temps or other internal/external customers.
  • Input data accurately and timely ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Calculate Statutory Sick and Maternity Pay along with all other statutory payments in accordance with set criteria.
  • Respond to enquires and requests for information from outside agencies,e.g Inland Revenue, DSS etc.
  • Calculate additional payments and or deductions.
  • Administer customer payroll information e.g collation of time sheets, new starter files, payroll reports, in-active lists, audit trail etc.
  • Deal with errors and amendments.
  • Comply with statutory and company payroll procedures and deadlines.
  • Undertake all duties having regard to the urgency necessary to meet appropriate deadlines and maintain confidentiality.
  • Undertake any other reasonable duties as directed by the Senior Payroll Officer
  • To be able to manually process tax, NI, SL deductions is a must on the UK payroll as well as on an Irish Payroll.
  • To uphold the company values and be an ambassador for the payroll team.
About you

GCSE or A-Level Maths.

  • To undertake the Payroll Administrator Apprenticeship L3
  • To understand the legislative requirements of the role and the importance of completing tasks to the agreed deadlines, to have an awareness of:
  • HMRC submissions o CMEC deductions
  • SSP / SMP & SSP deductions
  • Court Orders and other attachment of earnings.
