About This Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Payroll Officer Trainee. This is an exciting opportunity to embark on a rewarding career in payroll within the NHS, gaining valuable experience and qualifications along the way.
Your Role
- You will be responsible for managing a designated section of weekly and monthly payrolls, ensuring accurate and timely payments to our staff.
- This involves processing all relevant information related to allocated payrolls, adhering to local, national, and statutory regulations.
- A strong understanding of PAYE, NI, and other payroll-related legislation is essential for this role.
- You will also need a comprehensive knowledge of NHS Terms and Conditions of Employment to ensure compliance and accuracy in all payroll processes.

- You must be able to interpret and accurately apply regulations to the documents you process.
