Reporting into the Group Management Accountant and Group Treasury Manager, the role of the Financial Administrator will be to support the Group Services reporting team and Treasury function with their deliverables, as well as helping to coordinate the consolidation of division inputs into certain aspects of central reporting.

Responsibilities  and duties

Treasury support including:

  • Maintenance of Group forex rates
  • Cash flow forecasting and variance analysis
  • Internal and external payment processing
  • Management of cash sweep process
  • Support divisions in maintaining compliance with group cash reporting requirements.
  • Other Banking administration

Supporting the Group Services Management accountant, including:

  • Month end support including
  • Rolling forward and maintenance of all monthly reporting packs
  • Reconciliations and maintenance of balance sheet schedules including prepayments and accruals.
  • Support processing of capex and exceptional schedules, including maintenance of submission templates
  • Support divisions in maintaining compliance with group reporting requirements.
  • Journal workings and batch postings
  • Reporting from Sage and to Planful
  • Other Ad Hoc reporting
  • Maintenance and triage of group mailbox
  • Annual audit support

Key skills and experience

  • Must have at least two years’ of experience in a similar role
  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities, multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Collaborative team player.
  • Build trusting relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Work with colleagues across the Group, including international time zones and local culture.
  • Continuous improvement mindset, naturally inquisitive and eager to learn and develop.
  • Demonstrable experience, part qualified, or studying towards a recognised finance qualification.

Essential requirement:

  • Experience in a similar role, ideally with exposure to large geographically diverse corporate in a similar industry.
