Job Description

Here at Home Instead High Peak, we are looking to grow our team of Care Professionals. At Home Instead, we provide award-winning home care of the highest quality. Care Assistants are known as Care Professionals within Home Instead and the care and support our Care Professionals deliver is designed to allow our clients to live independently in their own homes, whilst we are companionship led, it is important that you are comfortable delivering all aspects of personal care as our clients needs change.

You do not need any experience or particular qualifications to become a Care Professional and we encourage people from different sectors to apply as we provide FULL training from the start. As we care for clients in their own homes, we often take them out in the community or to appointments, as such a driving license and access to a vehicle is desirable.

What does being a Care Professional involve?

Minimum 1-hour visits Introductions to all new clients Care Professionals matched to clients based on hobbies and interests. Companionship lead care service Shopping, general household tasks and preparing fresh food – from scratch Building strong professional relationships Variety on non-medical services to help the client stay as independent as possible in their own home
