Inertial confinementfusion for energy generation is a wellestablished research fieldand is being pursued in many laboratories worldwide perhaps mostnotably in the US at the National Ignition Facility. We areexploring a number of alternative research directions that harnessthe same fundamental physics with the prime focus being powergeneration.
