**Job role**:
**Facilities Management Delivery**

Responsible for the delivery of all hard and soft facilities management services at Fortescue WAE properties, including service model and provisions of clear service level led approaches to each site director.

**Real Estate Strategy Development**:
Develop and implement comprehensive strategies aligned with the company's overall business objectives. This includes analysing market trends, identifying opportunities for expansion or consolidation, and optimising the use of company-owned and leased properties.

**Portfolio Management & Compliance**:
Manage the company's global real estate portfolio, including owned and leased properties, to ensure efficient utilisation of space, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. This involves overseeing lease negotiations, property acquisitions and dispositions, and lease administration activities.

**Capital Expenditure Projects**:
Oversee the planning, budgeting, and execution of capital expenditure projects related to real estate, such as building renovations, expansions, and infrastructure upgrades. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

**Financial Analysis & Budgeting**:
Conduct financial analysis to evaluate the performance of real estate assets, including lease vs. buy decisions, lease renegotiations, and capital investment opportunities. Develop and manage budgets for real estate expenses, including leasing costs, property taxes, maintenance, and capital improvements.

**Vendor & Stakeholder Management**:
Build and maintain relationships with real estate brokers, property managers, landlords, and other external partners to support the company's real estate objectives. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including executives, legal, finance, and operations teams, to ensure alignment and effective execution of real estate strategies.

**Risk Management & Compliance**:
Identify and mitigate risks associated with the company's real estate holdings, such as lease obligations, environmental liabilities, and regulatory compliance issues. Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations governing real estate transactions and property management activities.

**Sustainability & ESG Initiatives**

Drive initiatives to promote sustainability and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) best practices across the company's real estate portfolio. This includes implementing energy efficiency measures, green building certifications, and sustainable design standards.

**Reporting & Performance Metrics**:
Develop and maintain reporting mechanisms to track key performance metrics related to the company's real estate portfolio, such as occupancy rates, lease expirations, operating expenses, and financial returns. Provide regular updates and presentations to senior management on real estate performance and strategic initiatives.

**You’ll have**:
Experience in property with both team and projects management experience, supported by professional qualifications within construction or real estate.
