Job summary

Thiskey role will work with the existing Fellview Practice Manager to jointly lead the effective day today operation of this large 4 site practice; ensuring that services aredelivered safely and effectively. You will be part of a locality leadershipteam working closely with our Lead GPs and other Practice Managers, supportedby the wider corporate management team.

Theideal candidate will have a good knowledge and understanding of Primary Carealong with extensive people management experience. You will be passionate aboutpatient experience with a focus on service improvement, transformation andcollaboration. The ability to prioritisea high workload and deadlines along with experience of financial monitoring andreporting are also key. Additionally, it is essential that the candidate has agenuine commitment to the needs of the local community, a high level ofpersonal resilience, operates with integrity and has high ethical standards.

Main duties of the job

The primary role of the PracticeManager is to ensure the effective day to day operation of the practice; ensuringthat quality services are delivered safely and effectively. The post holderwill work with delegated responsibility for the non-clinical activity at thepractice and will work with other Practice Managers/Service Delivery Leadsacross practice sites within the wider Locality.

Working with the GP and NursingLeads the post holder will ensure that quality services are delivered, staffand patients remain safe and services are delivered within delegated budgetsand in adherence to agreed standards, policies and procedures. The first point of call for practice staff,the Practice Manager will liaise with other colleagues across NCPC sites todevelop solutions to operational challenges and develop effective and efficientservices. The Practice Manager will be expected to provide cover for other PracticeManagers / Sites, if required.
