We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join the team of a reputable school in Derby.

 

Job Description:

We are looking for a behaviour mentor to work 1-1 and within a whole class setting to support the teacher and manage the behaviour.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in implementing the behaviour policy of the school and help students to overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.

 

Qualifications and Experience:

-         Relevant childcare / SEN qualification (CACHE Level 3 in Childcare, Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning, Special Educational Needs Diploma)

-         Enhanced Child only DBS (on the update service).

-         Previous Experience working with children with behavioural needs.

-         Strong understanding of behaviour management techniques.

-         Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

-         Ability to build positive relationships with students, parents and staff.

-         Patience, empathy and resilience.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
