Responsibilities:
  • Engage, motivate, and challenge students for academic success in Food Technology
  • Maintain high teaching standards and contribute to school-wide initiatives
  • Collaborate with a specialist team and support nutritional literacy and practical skills programmes
  • Oversee the development and implementation of the Food Technology curriculum
  • Contribute to departmental efficiency and student welfare
  • Uphold school policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • Degree in Food Technology or a related subject (preferred)
  • QTS or equivalent
  • Knowledge of the GCSE curriculum in Food Technology
  • Teaching qualification or equivalent experience
  • Awareness of safeguarding practices
  • Strong IT skills
  • Ability to inspire students and manage classrooms effectively
