Main duties of the job
What you'll be responsible for:
Maintaining accurate clinical observationsof patients; escalating concerns as appropriate To be aware of the safe policy andprocedures for using subcutaneous and intravenous devices and usage of enteralfeeding tubes To communicate effectively with patients,relatives and the healthcare team, while being mindful of possible barriers tounderstanding To have responsibility for the correctadministration and custody of medicines according to the Trust Policy

Assessing and monitoring patient conditions Checking symptoms and vital signs and arranging diagnostic tests Displaying excellent analytical ability and sound decision making in changing clinical situations Working as an effective team member and promoting team and interdisciplinary relationshipsThe role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above.
What you'll need:
A minimum of 6 months paid experience within an oncology ward environment within the last 3 years Comply with NMC Professional Registration and keep up to date with current nursing practices*Depending on the Trust, you may require variable additional certification and skills.
