Main duties of the job

Supporting the reception team with patient and clinicianqueries to ensure the smooth running of the practice.

Inducting and training new members of the team.

Creating Reception rotas, dealing with annual leaverequests. Ensuring TeamNet is updated.

Creating sessions on SystmOne

Setting up new starters IT log-in details, pathology, andsmartcard card access.

You will assist with scheduling training and organising andcompleting bookings for external training. Always ensuring all staffs trainingis up to date

Assist with reception appraisals, back to work interviewsand probation meetings.

Ensure appropriate cover across all sites is maintained atall times.

Provide support when needed to the Patient ServiceAdministrators as required to ensure adequate cover is provided to ensure thework is completed to the deadlines set.

Always maintain confidentiality for patients as well asstaff.

Ensure CQC compliance for reception staff.

Producing standard operating procedures for reception /administrative processes

GCSE grade A-C in English & Maths At least 3 years experience of working in a general practice setting Experience of having previously managed a team Experience in compiling staff rotas and clinical rotas Experience of the appraisal process
