We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sample Reception Technician to join our team at SGS. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of samples collected through our designated courier service.
Key Responsibilities:- Log samples into our laboratory booking system in accordance with customer and company objectives.
- Prioritize sample processing to maintain the time sensitivity of products.
- Inform senior staff of any difficulties impacting KPIs to ensure remedial action is taken and customer expectations are managed.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office software and general computer practice.
- High focus on precision and accuracy.
- GCSE grade A to C (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
- Full driving license.
