This is a crucial role within the healthcare team, making a real difference to patients, and delivering outstanding care. HMP Five Wells is a new prison, only open since 2022 with fantastic facilities and strong links to the community Hours: This is a full time role, hours per week, Monday to Sunday with weekends on a rotational basis. Hours are 08:00 - 16:00, but we can be flexible on shift times. Salary: This position is full time , youll receive an annual salary up to £29,085 per annum - depending on experience. How will we support you?Bespoke induction, including our Introducing Health in Justice training course

Main duties of the job
As our new Substance Misuse Recovery Worker, your responsibilities will vary. Some of your duties will include:
Delivering outstanding care to psycho social patients, seeking out, listening to, and acting on their feedback - ensuring that their care is personalised and tailored to the individual Providing a programme of psycho social interventions Provide information and advice on substance misuse, alcohol, smoking cession, blood borne viruses and safe sex practices Delivering care on a 1-1 basis as well as group sessions Assisting the healthcare team on the wings and in house blocksIf you are interested in career development, we have a wide range of opportunities for you to develop your skills and experience, which include both internal and external options for development and learning.
