About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Substance Misuse Recovery Worker to join our team at HMP Five Wells, a Category C resettlement prison in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire.

As a key member of our Recovery Team, you will play a vital role in empowering individuals to make positive changes in their lives, promoting health and well-being through recovery from drugs and alcohol.

This is a challenging yet rewarding role, offering the opportunity to make a real difference to patients and deliver outstanding care in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality support and guidance to individuals struggling with substance misuse
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to develop and implement effective recovery plans
  • Provide education and training on substance misuse and recovery
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to substance misuse
