About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Substance Misuse Recovery Worker to join our team at HMP Five Wells, a Category C resettlement prison in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire.

Key Responsibilities
  • Empower individuals to make positive changes in their behaviour and promote health and well-being through recovery from drugs and alcohol.
  • Deliver outstanding care and support to patients, working collaboratively with the healthcare team.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of recovery plans, ensuring a holistic approach to patient care.
  • Provide education and guidance on substance misuse, promoting healthy lifestyle choices and reducing the risk of relapse.
