Main duties of the job
What you'll be responsible for:
Undertake nursing assessment and evaluation to enable development of appropriate plans of care based on the needs of the individual. Be proficient in the delivery of care to patients. Ensure accurate records are kept in accordance with CHS policy and NMC guidelines. Carry out nursing procedures and techniques in accordance with agreed policies and standards. Job Title: - Theatre Scrub Nurse

Location: Torbay Hospital, Totnes community hospital, Brixham community hospital, Newton Abbot community hospital, Teignmouth community hospital, Dawlish community hospital.
Pay Rates: £ to £ ( Per Hour)

We provide health and social care services to our people in their own homes or in their local community. We also run Torbay Hospital (providing acute hospital services) as well as five community hospitals, stretching from Dawlish to Brixham.
We support around 500,000 face-to-face contacts with patients in their homes and communities each year and see over 78,000 people in our A&E department annually. We serve a resident population of approximately 286,000 people, plus about 100,000 visitors at any one time during the summer holiday season.

What you can add:
To be responsible for providing skilled clinical and technical assistance as a member of the operating theatre team To participate in the assessment of patient care needs implementing and maintaining agreed standards of care. Following Codes of Professional Practice provide high quality care to patients undergoing treatment within the Peri-Operative Environment.The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above.
What youll need:
Have a minimum of 6 months experience as a Registered Nurse in Theatres Registered with NMC*Depending on the Trust, you may require variable additional certification and skills.
