Position:

An opportunity has arisen for a permanent Programme Administrator based at the Johnnie Walker Bond in Kilmarnock 

Hours:

37  Hours per week

What you will do:

The Ayrshire and Arran Primary and Urgent Care Service are seeking to appoint a Programme Administrator to support delivery of the Scottish GMS Contract. You will work alongside multi-disciplinary teams within NHS Ayrshire & Arran and the three Ayrshire Health and Social Care Partnerships as well as General Practice to ensure the goals of the Contract are delivered within agreed timeframes.

Your main duties will be to provide programme support to the Primary Care Transformation Programme team. This will include managing confidential and sensitive material, provision of admin/secretarial support to the project team and a number of committees, collating information and producing a variety of reports (including financial) and working with internal colleagues and external partners at all levels.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:

You must have a HND in Business Administration or similar equivalent demonstrable experience as well as having excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills (both verbal and written), extensive experience of Microsoft Office packages, the ability to work effectively under pressure and use initiative to problem solve, at times managing competing demands. You must be a team player but able to work effectively on your own initiative and demonstrate previous secretarial experience at a similar level. Previous experience of minute taking is desirable. There will be a requirement to attend meetings at various locations across Ayrshire.  A driving licence/car ownership is essential for this role.
