An exciting opportunity has arisen where we are looking for a conscientious, hard-working individual to join our Fuel Sales & Administration Team at our Lancaster site.

THE JOB

To carry out general administration duties and be proactive with telesales for the fuel business, upselling on all calls ensuring a high level of customer service is delivered and sales as optimised.

      To provide an efficient and high standard of customer service to all telesales customers both inbound and outbound maximising sales opportunities and resolving customer complaints during first call.

      To proactively make outbound calls to past, present, and potential customers aiming to convert all calls to sales.

      To support day to day administrative duties including, taking orders, dealing with queries and providing quotations as well as following up to generate sales.

      To analyse data and proactively work towards achieving set targets generating sales for the business.

      To collaborate with drivers regarding fuel deliveries to ensure that our customers receive an optimum service, and we generate repeat and new custom.

      To collaborate with the finance team to resolve customer queries and support applications for credit for our customers.

      To adhere to Company and Group policies and procedures, including but not limited to those relating to Safety, Health and Environmental.


To ensure all relevant legislation and approved codes of practice, are adhered to in respect of ongoing compliance, including but not limited to UFAS, FIAS, & NOPS assurance schemes.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALITIES REQUIRED

Essential:

      Previous experience of excellent communication and customer service skills

      Previous experience of building great customer relationships and the ability to take calls from prospecting customers and close.

      A strong understanding of the sales process and the ability to understand the products and services on sale

Desirable

      Great analytical and interpersonal skills and a passion for selling

      Experience of CRM beneficial
