Your role as a Commercial Financial Analyst to join the Category Finance team who are responsible for the planning, reporting and provision of commercial insights for the Offer & Sourcing (O&S) team. You will build relationships across multiple buying offices and our banners to ensure the delivery of key outputs to the Sourcing, O&S and Finance leadership teams.
What's the job Analysis and modelling of sales and net margin data to support ranging decisions and understand current and future product profitability Interpreting analysis to provide essential insight on range performance to Commercial Finance Business Partners to support decision making Validation of sourcing and supply chain outputs to understand net margin improvements achieved Working flexibly and collaboratively to improve, share and standardize analytical approaches and procedures within the team and wider finance & O&S community. Provision of Periodic Category Reporting and Analysis to O&S Team Supporting Commercial Finance Business Partners, providing information for stakeholder communication and allowing affective working relationships to form. What you'll bring Qualified accountant with commercial finance experience in a retail or FMCG environment. Ability to pro-actively develop positive and highly effective working relationships, engaging key senior colleagues to achieve desired outcomes. Confident in handling large data sets and drawing out insights through high quality reporting. Ability to create and deliver a compelling presentation to colleagues & senior leaders.
