TPFRecruitment are supporting a market leading regional firm ofchartered accountants in their search for an Audit &Accounts Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for an aspiringRI to join one of Kents leading accountancy practices in anexciting position across both accounts and audit. There areexcellent progression prospects on offer and you will work with amixed client base across both corporate and not for profitindustries. This position will suit an ambitious applicant who islooking to become a Partner in thefuture.

Youwill be responsiblefor:
  • Supervisinga portfolio of audit and accounts clients and department workplanning
  • Reviewingaccounts and providing advice for more complex clients
  • Managingmembers of the audit and accounts team carrying out audit andstatutory accounts
  • Applyrelevant reporting standards tax law and auditing standards whilstexecuting work within deadlines and to budget and communicatingeffectively
  • Supportingteam members and assisting them in resolving technical issues
  • Workingalongside the partners to manage client relationships focusing ontheir needs and dealing with queries and requests as they ariseliaising with other team members to ensure the smooth flow of work
  • Regularlyreport to partners on the workflow work in progress forthcomingdeadlines and job costs and giving regular constructive feedback tothe audit and accounts team
  • Assistin the assessment development and training of theteam
  • Dependingon experience potentially supporting the partners with marketingand the development of thepractice.

Requirements
  • ACA/ACCAqualified with extensive experience gained withinpractice
  • Becompletely conversant with all aspects of audit and accountingprocedures
  • Haveexperience of effectively supervising junior team members
  • Proven analytical skills with an acute attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Be IT literate and highly competent with audit and accountingsoftware
