Job Summary: 

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced AEB and Apprenticeship Data and Compliance Manager to oversee and manage the data and compliance functions of our funded training programs. The ideal candidate will ensure adherence to funding rules, maintain data integrity, and support continuous improvement in our delivery processes.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Data Management:

- Oversee the collection, validation, and submission of ILR (Individualised Learner Record) data.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for all learners enrolled in AEB and Apprenticeship programs.

- Ensure data integrity and consistency across all systems and platforms.

- Prepare and analyse data reports to monitor program performance and compliance.

 

Compliance:

- Ensure compliance with ESFA (Education and Skills Funding Agency) and relevant Combined or Mayoral Authorities funding rules and regulations.

- Conduct regular audits and data quality checks to identify and rectify any discrepancies.

- Stay updated on changes in funding rules and regulations and implement necessary adjustments to processes and documentation.

- Develop and maintain robust compliance policies and procedures.

 

Reporting and Analysis:

- Generate and submit timely and accurate funding claims and reports to the ESFA.

- Analyse data trends and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.

- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure targets are met or exceeded.

 

Training and Support:

- Provide training and guidance to staff on data entry, compliance requirements, and best practices.

- Act as the point of contact for all data and compliance-related queries and issues.

- Work collaboratively with program managers and other stakeholders to enhance data and compliance practices.

 

Continuous Improvement:

- Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in data management and compliance.

- Implement and manage systems to streamline data collection, analysis, and reporting.

- Participate in internal and external audits and implement recommendations for improvement.

 

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.

- Extensive experience in managing data and compliance within a funded training provider environment.

- Strong knowledge of ESFA and GLA funding rules and ILR requirements.

- Proficiency in data management systems and software, including Excel and MIS systems.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with apprenticeship and AEB programs.

- Knowledge of additional funding streams and their compliance requirements.

- Relevant certifications in data management or compliance.

- Experience with PICS.
