SEN High-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) (UK Driving license required)- full time –  Exeter

Job Title: SEN High-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)   
Location:  Exeter
Salary: £80 - £90 per day
Start Date: immediately

Job Responsibilities as a SEN High-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA):

  • Develop and execute curriculum activities to create an engaging and interactive learning environment.
  • Offer targeted support to help students reach their full potential.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that embraces diversity and accommodates all learning styles.
  • Support the social and emotional development of students by acting as a positive role model.
  • Take advantage of ongoing mentorship and professional development to enhance your leadership skills and explore career growth opportunities.

Desired Qualifications as a SEN High-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA):

  • Solid understanding of educational principles and curriculum development.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective engagement with students, teachers, and parents.
  • Ability to assist the class teacher and cover lessons during PPA time.
  • Adaptable and resourceful in diverse classroom situations.
  • Thrives in a collaborative environment with strong leadership potential.
  • Previous experience as a High-Level Teaching Assistant in a school setting.
