Role: KS1 Teaching Assistant

Location: Bootle, Sefton

Salary: £80-100 per day

Working Days: 8.30-3.30, Monday to Friday 

Connex Education are currently recruiting on behalf of a fantastic primary school located in the Bootle area. The 1 form, rated 'Good' OFSETD school, is seeking an KS1 Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2024, initially for one term.

The school are hoping to speak with interested Teaching Assistants in early September 2024 for an ASAP September start. This role will be working in Year 1 providing 1:1 support to a pupil with ASD. EYFS and KS1 experience is essential and intervention experience desirable.

Qualifications and requirements:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Have a good understanding of the KS1 curriculum. 
  • The ability to adapt to different learning environments.
  • It is essential that you have a DBS on the update service, or willing to obtain a new one through Connex.
