About the team:

Working within a small team and in a matrix with other change professionals and boarder stakeholders you will be pivotal to the success of Organisational change in the business.  More broadly the team is diverse and comprises of 200+ colleagues across a couple of jurisdictions.

What you will be doing:

Lead a team in the successful delivery of change and services. This includes the delivery of end-user/business change, mandatory and maintenance projects, and responsibility for the change deployment and certification process. It also encompasses ensuring a high level of availability and stability for the customer environments including application performance, application operations management and development support.

  • Build a strong, capable matrixed team positioned to deliver high quality services to customers now and in the future.

  • Attract and retain talent required to deliver outstanding client service.

  • Manage assignment of personnel to appropriate initiatives, performance evaluations, career planning and succession planning.

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships (internal and external)

  • Ensure customer satisfaction with the change services provided to them.

  • Ensure customer environments are highly available and stable, and meeting customer needs.

  • Manage ROI, Programme Planning and Execution, Testing, Release Deployment, Portfolio of change.

  • Develop new business opportunities in collaboration with Sales. Participate in prospect meetings and industry events, contributing thought leadership.

  • Lead the change committee and matrixed PMO and testing needs of the business.

  • Drive sustained and scalable change into the Organisation working with business partner within the FIS group and or third-party vendors.

  • Have oversight of change and report effectively for three products within the organisation. (Wealth as a Service, Multi lateral trading Function and Transfer Agency businesses)

What you bring:

  • Demonstrable team building, people management and leadership skills.

  • Direct knowledge of Wealth Management, proven leadership of change function and good understanding of process optimisation (Lean Processing)

  • Broad knowledge of the capital markets industry, banking operations and regulatory requirements.

  • Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods.

  • Excellent knowledge of project performance evaluation techniques and key metrics.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Project and other book of work management toolsets such as Jira.

  • Ability to network effectively, negotiate well and influence internal and external stakeholders.

  • Significant experience influencing, planning, coordinating with resources from teams outside of their direct reporting structure / area of responsibility.

  • Proven ability to provide a world-class customer/client experience, underpinned by a lean cost base, strong controls and a culture of collaboration, innovation, and high performance.

  • Confidence to remain calm in high pressure situations.

  • Strong client presentation skills.

  • Experience of working with senior management.

  • Adaptable in fast-paced and changing business environments.
