About the role:

Are you passionate about driving operational excellence and improving customer experience in a dynamic, member-led organisation? We are looking for a Standard Operating Procedures Lead to join our team and assist the Continuous Improvement Manager in delivering end-to-end operational excellence, simplifying store processes, and enhancing our customer journey.
As the SOP Lead , you will work closely with our Food Retail teams to establish best-in-class methods of working, deliver cost efficiencies, and support the development of exceptional customer experiences. Your role will involve analysing data, identifying areas for improvement, and creating clear, concise standard operating procedures to ensure seamless operations.

As part of this role, you will: 
• Support the Continuous Improvement Manager in delivering large scale business improvement projects 
• Create and support project plans and ensure that the required quality, time frames and budgets are adhered to
• Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures and associated material and communications to support new ways of working and ensuring robust rollout and maintenance of any new process documents 
• Work closely with the Food Retail teams to identify potential risks and identify areas of improvement – Best in class
• Support to de-risk processes through automation – Systems, Policies and Procedures 
• Analyse and collate insights to inform decision making and measure success
• Co-ordinator with process owners and technology owners to define technology requirements to support the process strategy and deployment 
• Work closely with the Simple Stores Team and wider food teams to deliver the best business optimisation solutions, including automation and digitisation of processes
• Support the development and maintenance of our customer journey’s and facilitate improvements to processes to support customer experience

This role is part of a team based from our Head Office in Warwick, with a mix of working from home and in the office.

Who are we looking for?

To be a successful candidate for this role you will need: • Ability to use software such as Microsoft Excel, including interpreting and analysing data to highly the need for change/implementation
• Experience of creating Standard Operating Procedures or training/communication documents and materials is desirable 
• Ability to identify best in class working across our Food Retail Business, with Food Retail experience is desirable
• Ability to support and drive a continuous improvement culture 
• Excellent time management, organisation and prioritisation skills
• Lean Six or Continuous Improvement experience is desirable but not essential 
• Passion about Customer Experience in a member-led organisation
