We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Cardiff to assist with the appointment of a Quality Assurance and Contract Monitoring Officer, on a 3-month contract, likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: £20.08 - £25.21 per hour

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Strategic Commissioning Team Manager in the development of the commissioning strategy and monitoring and reporting on progress on its implementation.
  • Collate information and intelligence and act as a source of advice on specific areas of need and services.
  • Contribute towards the development of good working relations and collaborative arrangements with stakeholders, including partner Councils, the Health Board and providers, private and voluntary sector agencies and service user organisations, including supporting any formal arrangements for stakeholder engagement.
  • Develop plans for service improvement and development in specific areas of service provision.
  • Contribute to liaison with providers and potential providers of services to support market development in response to identified need using monitoring information to identify trends, issues, service gaps which may require consideration.
