Painting & Decorating Quality Assurance Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled External Quality Assurer to join our team in ensuring the quality of assessments in line with City & Guilds and regulatory requirements.

Job Type: Contract, Industry: Construction, Associate Type: External Quality Assurer/External Assessor, Territories: North West, Wales, West Midlands

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have current and credible expertise in working with the Painting & Decorating Level 3 qualifications. Additionally, they must hold the appropriate assessor qualification (D32/D33 or A1/A2 or TAQA Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement) and internal quality assurer qualification (D34/V1 or TAQA Level 4 Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice). The successful applicant must also have achieved or be working towards the (-41) External Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice (TAQA) or its equivalent (D35/V2).

Our External Quality Assurers play a vital role in supporting our centres with industry and quality assurance expertise. As a City & Guilds EQA, you will need to maintain effective working relationships with our centres and the City & Guilds office, planning and monitoring quality assurance activities in line with our qualification requirements.

Requirements
  • Current and credible expertise in working with the Painting & Decorating Level 3 qualifications.
  • Hold the appropriate assessor qualification (D32/D33 or A1/A2 or TAQA Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement).
  • Hold the appropriate internal quality assurer qualification (D34/V1 or TAQA Level 4 Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice).
  • Achieved or working towards the (-41) External Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice (TAQA) or its equivalent (D35/V2).
  • Experience of working in a regulated environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience of providing supportive, concise feedback to both learners, assessors, and delivery staff.
  • Flexibility to travel throughout the UK.

We offer a competitive salary, estimated at around £40,000-£50,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional development and training.
