Quality Assurance and Contract Monitoring Officer

We are currently working with a Local Authority in Cardiff to appoint an experienced Quality Assurance and Contract Monitoring Officer to join their Commissioning Team
This role is central to delivering high-quality, externally commissioned services to support children, young people, and families involved with Cardiff Children's Services. You'll play a key part in implementing the Children's Services Commissioning Strategy: Right Home, Right Support, aimed at creating meaningful outcomes and raising standards for Cardiff's young people.
Quality Monitoring: Regularly assess and improve the quality of commissioned services, ensuring they meet the highest standards.
Build and maintain strong relationships with local providers, market stakeholders, and external agencies to foster a supportive network for service enhancement.
Data Analysis & Reporting: Leverage analytical skills to assess service performance, identifying areas for improvement and cost-effective solutions.
Contract Oversight: Experience in commissioning, procurement, and contract management, ideally within the public sector.
