Job summary
The Dartford Health Visiting Team is one of the best teams you could work in. Working as part of this teamyou will support the delivery of the Healthy Child Programme in accordance with national and localstrategy/guidance. This will include the provision of antenatal and postnatal period programmes conductinguniversal mandated checks and packages of care in line with evidence based will work in partnership with partner agencies in the identification and protection of vulnerable childrenand contribute to the development of care plans, working in accordance with local and professional Visitors will contribute to the completion of agreed outcomes for delegated Children Protection cases asper agreed multi-agency care plane ensuring regular communication with caseload holder.
Main duties of the job
What will the role involve?
Contributing to antenatal and postnatal care programmes Completing HCP mandated reviews, packages of care and safeguarding. Supporting in the supervision/ line management and development of colleagues Undertaking a range of competent clinical and non-clinical interventions to support the outcomes for families and the service Attend and contribute to team meetings Building relationships with colleagues to enhance the team working environment.We have full and part time opportunities ranging from a minimum of hours to a maximum of hours per week between 9am to 5pm. This role is a community-based role so the majority of yourduties will be carried out between your base and community settings or client homes.

Registered health care professional (NMC registration) Health related degree and evidence of relevant post graduate development at Level 6 Evidence of Specialist qualifications relevant to area of practice - Specialist Community Public Health Nurse
Desirable
PRINCE 2 or equiv. project management training PTLLS/DTLLS, PGCE or Certificate in Education Management or supervisory qualification or experience of study
Experience

Supporting others (mentor / educator / supervisor) experience Practical experience in managing health related projects/complex caseloads
