The role is working within the Siemens-Energy (SE) Small Gas Turbine (SGT) Special Projects Team. Working in collaboration with both the internal (PPC) and external (Regions) to evaluate and provide innovative solutions in support of developing the SGT product portfolio. The individual is responsible for the global selling of the product both technically and commercially via the SE Regional Entities and direct to our End User customers. The role involves some travel globally and could be out of the country for up to 100 days a year. Ensure that the Sales processes are implemented in line with PM@Siemens methodology, within Siemens process /LOA guidelines, and in a compliant and ethical manner. Offer coaching & mentoring support. Coordinate and collaborate with stakeholders across multicultural boundaries. Within the position there will be called upon from time to time to travel internationally to support our in territory Siemens colleagues and End User Customers. The individual will also be required to work with and train other members of staff on the myriad of opportunities this role will bring. How You’ll Make an Impact - Initiate and drive the promotion of the Special Projects Opportunities in support and aligned with the Modernisation & Upgrades field of expertise and work towards customers satisfaction in diverse and varied future requirements. - Assist in the compiling of budgetary and firm proposals when called upon and provide advice and guidance to the tendering teams. - In conjunction with Siemens Regional Entities develop and follow-up on any Special Projects identified. - Take the lead on behalf of the Siemens-Energy (SGT) in all department all Regional Entity and Customer Sales Negotiations. Be the technical and commercial expert. - Develop and implement a Go to Market selling and pricing strategy for the product line. - Provide supervision, guidance, coaching to junior members of the Modernisation & Upgrades team. - Carry out product lines presentations globally when called upon. This includes Gas Turbine User Groups. - Work in a trustworthy, ethical and compliant manner at all times. What You Bring - Good technical understanding of the Siemens SGT Product. - Good sound commercial and contractual understanding with the ability to lead multi-disciplined teams. - Good understanding of the Siemens Internal Siemens process and company network. - Professional Knowledge: Contract Management in an International Oil & Gas / Power Generation business environment.- Proven Sales and Sales negotiation experience in an International Oil & Gas / Power Generation business environment. - Has a strong Project Management knowledge. -Financial and departmental commercial experience. - People management experience. - Methodology: PM@Siemens / LOA Process. - Miller Heiman (Conceptual Selling). - Experience in Sales and Commercial Management. Has to be confident in front of a customer and should be educated to degree level or have a minimum of 5 -8 years experience in an International Oil & Gas / Power Generation business. - Discipline in planning, organising and structuring of resources.
