Responsibilities include:
Lead on the management, maintenance, promotion and continuous improvement of immersive learning spaces, to meet educational goals and enrich student learning experiences. Spearhead digital innovation projects, from inception to closure, to further augment student learning experiences and develop 21st-century skills. Create and promote inclusive extended learning environments using Unity or similar platforms, specifically for Oculus Quest 2 and 3 headsets. Develop and deliver training programmes for curriculum staff on using immersive technologies effectively in their teaching practice. Work closely with curriculum and service teams to understand their needs and guide them during the development of effective bespoke virtual learning solutions. Ensure high standards in the design, delivery, and evaluation of virtual learning environments, aligning with curriculum and service team requirements. Stay abreast of the latest trends in digital learning and immersive technology to continually enhance the College's learning opportunities. Engage with internal and external stakeholders to enhance Bradford College's reputation as a leader in digital innovation. Confidently represent Bradford College during local and national events, within the digital education sphere. Undertake any other relevant tasks requested by the Head of Learning, Development and Innovation or Learning & Innovation Manager. Work alongside the skills hub coordinator to promote and demonstrate innovative learning technologies in the skills hub area.
