Role Overview:


As the National Account Manager for the Grocery Channel, you will be a crucial part of our sales team, responsible for managing and expanding our relationships with major grocery retailers. You will play a key role in driving sales, ensuring optimal shelf presence, and implementing effective promotional strategies to boost brand visibility and performance in the grocery sector.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key grocery accounts to drive business growth.
  • Negotiate and secure new listings and promotional opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored sales strategies and marketing initiatives for the grocery channel.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify growth opportunities and optimize performance.
  • Monitor competitor activity and market developments to ensure Au Vodka remains a leader in the premium vodka segment.
  • Manage account budgets and ensure profitability targets are met.
  • Prepare and present regular performance reports to senior management.


Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Proven experience in a National Account Manager role within the FMCG sector, preferably with a focus on alcoholic beverages.
  • Strong understanding of the grocery retail landscape and key account management.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and market trends to inform strategic decisions.
  • Self-motivated, with a results-driven approach and the ability to work independently.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
