EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES/DEGREES

Graduate of approvedUltrasound training programValid Oregonpermanent or temporary OBMI license required uponhireMust obtain an ARDMS registry within sixmonthsAmerican Heart Association HealthcareProvider Basic Life Support(BLS)

Holds aminimum of three specialty certifications from one or more of thefollowing certificationboards:

  • Sonographer certification bythe American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography(ARDMS)
  • American Registry of RadiologicTechnologists (ARRT)
  • CardiovascularCredentialing International(CCI)

EXPERIENCE

  • Oneyear of prior sonographer experiencepreferred

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
  • BLS
  • ARDMS
  • ARRT
  • CCIRCIS

STATE LICENSE REQUIREMENTS :
  • Oregon

ADDITIONALLICENSE REQUIREMENTS : ARDMS ARRT CCI
