Functions as a healthcare provider who working underthe supervision of the Radiology management team serves as amedical imaging professional providing clinically relevantinformation to assist the physician with the diagnosis andtreatment ofpatients.

  • Demonstratedproficiency with computer skills and software programs used fordocumentation activities and reportgeneration
  • Sonography education training andexperience in the specialty area(s) to beperformed
  • Maintains regular consistent andpunctual attendance at the assigned joblocation
  • Must be able to participate instandby/oncall rotation after regular department hours weekends andholidays
  • Ability to foster a collaborativeatmosphere with other members of the healthcareteam

Requirement description :
  • Graduate of approved Ultrasound trainingprogram REQUIRED
  • 1 year of sonographerexperience REQUIRED
  • General sonographer(including biopsies and aspirations) experience and Breast(including biopsies) experienceREQUIRED
  • Holds a minimum of onecertification from one of the following certificationboards:
  1. Sonographercertification by the American Registry for Diagnostic MedicalSonography (ARDMS)
  2. American Registry ofRadiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  3. CardiovascularCredentialing International(CCI)
