We’re looking for a Personalisation Manager to join our Marketing team. We’re at the beginning of our personalisation journey so this is a great opportunity to positively impact our engagement and conversion metrics and drive business value.

You’ll develop expert knowledge of the National Trust’s audience segments and enrich our supporter’s experience by putting personalisation at the heart of their digital journeys.

As the Product Owner for Salesforce Marketing Cloud Personalisation, you’ll develop the roadmap for personalisation across marketing channels, aligning it to our audience strategy and goals. Working with many stakeholders in C&M, S&R and IT, you will shape how we plan, co-ordinate and deliver cross-channel journeys to improve the supporter experience and driving engagement, conversion and loyalty.

Your contractual location will be our head office in Swindon and there will be an expectation for you to attend the office. However, there is flexibility on where you are based at other times. You will be required to work at a National Trust location for 40-60% of your working week. This will be discussed in more detail at interview. 

What you'll be doing

Working within the Supporter Data & Customer Journeys team, you’ll play a pivotal role in implementing and managing Salesforce Marketing Cloud Personalisation. You’ll be responsible for the roadmap, working with our technology and implementation partners to continuously learn and adopt best practices. Working closely with Insight, Digital, Content Marketing, Channels, IT Digital, CRM, Customer Journeys and Marketing Automation teams, you’ll plan and co-ordinate effort across digital platforms. As Product Owner, you’ll write epics, user stories and acceptance criteria and ensure that requirements are fed into respective teams in a timely and accurate manner. You’ll build strong working relationships with C&M colleagues, anticipating and identifying issues early and creatively driving through pragmatic solutions. You’ll use quantitative and qualitative data to continuously seek to better understand our current and future supporters.

We’d love to hear from you if you:

Are a highly motivated, positive and pro-active team player with excellent communication skills Have a background in direct or digital marketing and experience implementing or managing Martech solutions Are analytical with excellent knowledge and experience of data-driven hypotheses and A/B testing Have experience using audience segmentation for targeting and personalising communications and digital interactions across marketing channels Are an excellent communicator with strong influencing, negotiation and stakeholder management skills Are very organised and able to plan and structure work to deliver integrated campaigns and journeys across teams
