Hywel Dda University Health Board is seeking to appoint a Capital ProgrammeSupport Officer to join its Capital Planning Team. This is an excellent opportunity tobe part of a team to support the delivery of an ambitious programme of capitalprojects over the coming years.

The post holder will support the Capital Planning Team in the implementation of alarge portfolio of capital projects to meet the aims and objectives of the HealthBoard's Strategy 'A Healthier Mid and West Wales'. The post holder will play animportant role in arranging and servicing meetings, ensuring projects andprogrammes run in a timely and co-ordinated manner.

The post holder will be responsible for providing a comprehensive admin and project support function to the Capital Planning Team Project Managers. The role will involve supporting development and delivery of robust project managementarrangements to ensure issues raised in project / programme groups meetings areactioned and / or fed back to the appropriate senior officers supporting the project / programme.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will provide administrative support to the Capital Planning Team, and particularly strategic estates planning work streams, in the implementation of a large portfolio of capital projects to meet the aims and objectives of the Health Board's Strategy 'A Healthier Mid and West Wales - Our Future Generations Living Well'.

This will include working closely with in-house teams as well as liaison with external contractors and key stakeholders with appropriate capital schemes.

Work independently resolving day to day queries and enquiries within project guidelines and timescales.

Provide support to planning, capital schemes and other capital project related groups, to include arranging in person and virtual meetings, preparing agendas and papers, photocopying, taking minutes and ensuring that actions from meetings are carried out within project timelines.

Assist the Strategic Capital Planning Team in preparing and adapting project plans and reports.

Arrange meetings with internal colleagues and external partners of projects.

Excellent organisational skills, experience in committee work and knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams applications are essential.
