Claire's a hiring a French-speaking Digital Merchandising Manager to join to the business on a 12 month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. The role can be offered on a remote basis in the UK.

The Digital Merchandising Manager is responsible for the development and growth of Claire’s Global Websites, ensuring E-Commerce Easy Shopping best practices are developed and localized Globally, supporting customers and sales growth through online digital merchandising excellence. The role will drive sales in line with annual budgets and deliver the merchandising and product strategy for the Claire’s Global Websites. The Digital Merchandising Manager will partner closely with the Merchants Teams and the Digital Operations Team, as well as collaborating with other teams to ensure alignment of objectives and drive decisions.

Duties and responsibilities include:

Create and Deliver Claire’s Digital Merchandising Strategy Using Tools Like Heap/GA, Consumer Insights, Industry Observations, comp analysis & Personal Intuition to inform our approach Research & Deliver Product “Story Telling” Digital Merchandising Solutions, identify & WIN key Fashion Trends, Product Moments, coordinating with marketing and merchants teams Optimize Navigation, Internal Search, Product Recommendations, SEO through a test and learn, fail fast approach. Create thoughtful, impactful, results driving Promotional Strategies that Deliver. Test and Learn, Fail Fast. Collaborate with Digital Operations Team to execute and inspect final delivery on the Live Site. Work Closely with Merchants and Marketing to deliver the Claire’s Global merchandising and product strategy Digitally. Create clear, concise briefs that bring to life landing pages, category pages, homepage etc. Become an expert on your given product category, always ensure all products under your categories are enriched and categorized correctly Work Cross Functionally to Improve Customer Experience through thoughtful UX suggestions, changes, and improvements Act as the business owner to Drive the delivery of enriched product content that improves conversion and properly portrays Claire’s brand and assortment Localize the website for language, best sellers, trends, holidays, keywords, key local trends, key features, internal search, SEO, etc. as needed Coordinate with the others global Digital Merchandising Managers to ensure alignment across the site, sharing best practice and the best customer experience online for our customers

What are we looking for?

Previous experience in an e Commerce environment, specifically related to digital merchandising, product content creation, user experience, taxonomy, and/or internal search Fluent in French and English Experience with Google Analytics and Salesforce Commerce Cloud Understanding of Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), User Experience (UX) and A/B Testing Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Team player able to build effective working relationships Excellent communication skills both spoken and written Highly organized and able to effectively manage priorities Proactive work style with the ability to resolve problems. A commercial approach with an active interest in drawing on best practice and encouraging excellence Ability to collaborate and work across a large, diverse organization HTML knowledge helpful
