**Reports to**: Merchandising Team Leader

**About the Role**:
The main purpose of this role is to source, procure, receive and ship products to enable the
business to install show homes in a timely and efficient matter for our Clients. Working as part of a
Merchandising team specialising in interior design, this role specifically deals with product areas
including furniture, lighting, wallpaper and soft furnishings.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Responsible for the day to day management of ordering, chasing, receiving and shipping

products in a timely manner to meet the requirements of the installation schedule.
- Ensure all jobs are on the in-house stock management system and responsible for the day to

day management of the stock system.
- Accurately record stockholding and monthly stock balancing for the relevant product category.
- Place purchase orders, ensure accuracy of costs and ensure that charges are made to relevant

project costing within the agreed business budget guidelines.
- Grow and manage supplier relationships including agreed terms and stock management.
- Manage product purchases orders effectively to minimise carriage charges.
- Receiving of stock within strict timelines using relevant systems accurately.
- Ensure consistent client communication regarding schedules.
- Ensure that supplier returns are dealt with efficiently through to credit.
- Manage and plan stock arrival/booking in, in conjunction with Warehouse Management Team

ensuring clear lines of communication.
- Ensure that the installation schedule and Warehouse scheduling are up to date, detailing all

key dates and information.
- Ensure consistent client communication surrounding schedules, ad-hoc queries, timescales

and installations via contracts planner.
- Be able to problem solve quickly and effectively, informing/discussing solutions with relevant

teams and key stakeholders.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure all teams are fully informed of relevant day-to-day

information.
- Work closely with the Styling team to ensure products are available for scheduled installations

and to assist with any styling queries and issues.

**About you**:
Essential Knowledge, Experience and Skills
- Experience in a customer facing role dealing with internal and external customers at all levels.
- Previous experience working in a similar role within a procurement, supply chain or sourcing

environment.
- Previous experience of stock management.
- Competent using the full Microsoft Suites particularly Excel and able to use in-house stock

management systems
- Able to operate both independently as well as contribute as part of a team.
- Excellent organisational skills, a planner; adept at prioritising and able to meet deadlines.

Desirable Knowledge, Experience and Skills
- Previous experience working with interior design products.
