An exciting chance to join Zachary Daniels as a Junior Merchandiser, working with a brand that's experiencing significant growth and expansion. This role is ideal for aspiring or established merchandisers looking to take their career to the next level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accountable for own categories, budget, option count, OTB, and trading actions
- Lead Monday Trade actions, providing achievable and commercial solutions to departmental performance
- Deep dive into historical data, building lessons learned and strategy packs
- Set parameters for each trading window with clear strategic goals around range size, planning, forecasting, cover, and margin guidelines
- Collaborate with the buying team to ensure merchandising KPIs are clear and achievable for product development and delivery of new ranges
- Accurately forecast volume and newness lines
- Identify and set objectives to improve bottom-line margin
- Identify and de-risk delivery, lead times, or capacity with the buying team and suppliers
Requirements:
- WSSI experience with direct planning involvement
- Experience with owning your own sub-category/ies
- Experience with budget knowledge, option counts, depth of buy control, phasing, strategy, and supplier relationships
- Approachable, confident, and fair line manager who cares about developing the wider team
