We are looking for a highly motivated person to join our friendly team as a regional MDT Co-ordinator. You will be working closely with a dynamic team of Clinicians, Surgical Care Practitioners, administration staff plus all members of the Multi-Disciplinary Team across the speciality in Orthopaedics, Haematology and Radiology.

ESNEFT are excited to have gained Major Revision Centre status for knee arthroplasty. You can become part of a team focusing on patient's pathways & care.

You will be part of a busy team and must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to exercise diplomacy and a good telephone manner. Proven team working, secretarial and organisational skills are essential.

Main duties of the job

Ensuring adequate preparation is made for regional MDT to take place.

Minutes prepared for revision Knee MDT, sharing of minutes for approval and any actions disseminated and completed.

Inputting outcome of MDT on eTrauma & Evolve.

Liaising with trusts requiring advice from Major Revision centre service at ESNEFT.

Qualifications

Essential

GCSE grade 5/C or equivalent in English and Maths Advanced level NVQ in health & social studies or equivalent experience

Desirable

Any relevant vocational qualifications ( NVQ)

Experience

Essential

Working in a busy and dynamic work environment, as part of a large team. Communication with stakeholders across different clinical teams and specialties. Minute taking.

Desirable

Previous MDT or similar patient tracker/pathway co- ordinator role. Ward experience. Orthopaedic knowledge & experience.

Knowledge

Essential

Confidentiality and Data Protection Customer service Knowledge pf a range of administrative & clinical procedures.

Desirable

BAJIR (Bone & joint infection registry) Knowledge of data analysis software & computer systems.
