Job Profile

The purpose of the Transformation Lead role is to successfully execute the FinEX Transformation Strategy. Reporting to the FinEX Global Head of Transformation & Agile, the Transformation Lead will lead the scoping and delivery of the Transformation programmes working with the wider FinEX Exco and Strategic Partners.

Responsibilities include:

  • Support leadership in managing and leading change through deployment of programmes and provide inputs into strategic change planning
  • Obtain buy-ins from and influence stakeholders for all key programme plans, commitments, changes including OKRs, budget, schedule, scope, risk mitigation and contingency plans
  • Monitor and report on progress to stakeholders, oversee the tracking of risks/issues/dependencies
  • Assess the impact on the benefit realisation for the programme and takes action to minimise impact
  • Review performance against Transformation objectives and take remedial actions where required
  • Ensure all agreed costs, quality and delivery commitments to stakeholders by priority market teams are met
  • Evaluate delivery quality of the Transformation team using methods such as KPIs and surveys
  • Support the Office of the CIO by providing frameworks, stakeholder slide packs and other materials required by the CIO

 

Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications 

 

Business

  • A good understanding of Financial Services with knowledge of the Finance and Financial Risk domains

 

Experience

Candidates will need to demonstrate:

  • Experience as senior technologist with a proven track record of on time delivery and effective management of a large, complex programmes
  • Ability to provide technical and conceptual thought leadership, successfully navigate areas of ambiguity and stakeholder disagreement to achieve required outcomes
  • Track record of DevOps and Agile adoption and optimisation in a complex, global environment
  • Effective program management and stakeholder management skills
  • Financial acumen with a strong understanding of budgeting and forecasting.  Vendor management expertise
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills across all communities, with experience of successfully influencing senior stakeholders, negotiating effectively, and winning over audiences with compelling and persuasive presentations
  • Ability to lead and innovate in a global setting across a fragmented estate
  • Dynamic with an ability to drive culture change and engagement
  • Strong passion for technology and understanding how things work
