Job Advert Role Description

Priory Hospital East Midlands  provides acute and psychiatric intensive care services to those in need. We are dedicated to providing innovative, high quality care, which will enable patients’ recovery and re-engagement with the community.

Our wards offer assessment and treatment to females with a broad range of mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, stress, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), schizophrenia and personality disorders.

The hospital currently comprises of 2 wards: with a total of 19 inpatient beds.
- Littlemore Ward – a female psychiatric intensive care unit (PICU)
- Barton Ward - an acute ward for females 

Our New ward due to open later this year is a 9 Bed Acute ward.

In this role, the successful candidate will:

- Provide support and guidance to onsite Senior Management Team (SMT) and Managers on the interpretation and implementation of Priory’s HR policies and procedures ensuring consistent employment practice at site.

-Act as first point of contact for employee queries at site.

- Managing workflow to ensure all HR administration process are delivered accurately and on time.

- Absence management and employee relations
- Documentation and General Duties

Working hours can be negotiable but must meet the needs of the service

The post-holder will have strong communication skills, relationship building skills and excellent attention to detail. Working towards CIPD would be ideal but not essential. 

Previous experience as a HR Administrator/Assistant within a commercial environment in a generalist or specialist role. Ideally within Healthcare sector but not essential.
