We have a fantastic opportunity for a National Trainer to join our amazing training team based in Cambridge and Peterborough with national travel as required.

As a National Trainer and part of the national training team, you will be responsible for working with our new starters within your region to deliver their First Aid qualifications within the workplace, whilst providing exceptional support and guidance to both the learners and the operational teams, supporting driver theory and assessments where required.

You will be responsible for ensuring that EMED is adhering to company and industry training standards and regulations, ensuring all PTS / Community / Courier and SAFE colleagues have signed/recorded, up to date training in place.

Your main duties will include:

Delivery of the company induction to new starters across all divisions within the region/ nationally (if required). Annual refresher training across all divisions within the region / nationally (if required). Conducting relevant First Aid Accredited qualifications. Conducting driver training / driving assessing. Supporting / motivating learners to ensure progression. Support, train, assess and coach part time trainers within the region. Support, train, assess and coach mentors within the region. Support the development of learners to maximise full potential / stretch knowledge. Maintain and report on training compliance regularly. Collaborate with regional and national teams (Operations, HR, Compliance and Fleet) to address priorities, concerns or initiatives related to training. Identify additional learning needs, through updated guidelines / customer requirements / legislation and provide the relevant guidance & resources. Provide and update (collaboratively with the training team) relevant course material, to ensure the training courses are in date and compliant. Ensure all additional training including annual updates are in line with the business expectations and ‘Training Prospectus’. Collaborate with the training team / paramedic trainer / IQA / compliance team to ensure consistency and currency of training materials and knowledge. Communicate effectively with various stakeholders to address training needs and challenges. Deliver balanced KPIs in line with Company expectations. Update the company information systems (e.g. Bamboo) and maintain accurate records of training activities. Recording training attendance externally where required on Qualsafe etc, generating accredited certificates for attendees and sharing / recording these internally.

We are looking for:

Desirable:

AET Qualified – although desirable this is not essential as we are willing to help the successful candidate obtain this Level 3 CAVA (or equivalent – or working towards). Level 4 education and Training (or equivalent – or working towards) Assessor Qualification. Driver instructor qualification / ADI / ROSPA (or equivalent). Mental Health First Aider. Coaching or mentoring experience.
