Clinical Nurse Team Leader (RGN)

Salary: up to £42,607.50

Day Shifts

Hours per week: 37.5

Requirements for the Clinical Nurse Team Leader role:
  • You must have a Registered Nurse Qualification (RGN)
  • Valid NMC Pin
  • Clear DBS
  • Good working knowledge of CQC regulations
  • Proven track record of leading a Nursing team and delivery of person-centred care, including care planning
  • Previous experience within a Neurological setting

A specialist neurological centre in Ipswich supporting adults after a brain injury or with neurological conditions such as Parkinsons or MS.

The role of a Clinical Nurse Team Leader within the Nursing Home involves:
  • Leading the Nursing Team in the quality of Nursing care and providing support and advise to both colleagues and relatives
  • Carrying out patient assessments
  • Creating, developing and implementing care plans
  • Producing and keeping accurate records, in line with internal and external policies
  • Participating in audits and monitoring quality of care through clinical audit
  • Ensuring all incidents and complaints are reported to the relevant bodies and recorded accordingly
  • Ensuring there is appropriate staff cover and planning rotas
  • Acting as a mentor to junior members of staff
